Good effort if I do say so myself. (the effort would be on his part. Being with him is mostly easy... I'm the relationship menace!)
So, anyway. To celebrate we took 2 days off work and had a long weekend, which we are in the middle of right now.
Thursday night we stayed at the Sofitel in the city, drank champagne and ate oysters all night. Then Friday morning we had an early rise and took off on a bus to Mt Buller for a day in the snow!
Seemed only fitting, seeing as how our relationship started in the snow.
We went snowboarding all day, and now I'm sore.
Even typing is pain.
I think I was the only person out there yesterday wearing a retro one-peice. Rory pretty much summed it up when we were stopping for Pizza by explaining that we were the only inner-city hipsters with a passion for vintage who go to the snow... everyone else there was either rich private school kids, or their parents. He was right. I got a lot of stares but I had so much fun and I wouldn't have worn anything else! It's the cutest wee suit, and incredibly comfy.
