Genius

I just read a whole bunch of emails from me to an old friend from 2006 & 2007.
I would just like to take this time to quote myself in one email to her

"I can't think right now, my brain is caterpillars"

I am amazing.

That is all.

Things that are making me flip-out

YouTube video clips. Mainly the Florence video for Rabbit Heart; right at the end when they're about to put the white coffin in the lake and the dude in the top-hat does a little prance... yeah, that little prance makes me giddy :)
80's power suits - namely my new black and orange polyester power suit with sheer sleeves & massive pads: to diiiiie for.
Making a wall of mirrors in my living room and dancing around as if the mirrors were cameras and I was shooting a video clip.
That feeling when you're just finishing a show, and you realise that it all came together, ok so maybe the glitter cannons shot 9 degrees too far to the left, and the crotch emphasise you did left you 30% paralised, but it WORKED! and all that hard work, stress, sleepless night, dancing till your feet fell off, and spending exhorbant amounts of money of 80's paraphernalia PAID OFF :)
(I'm really looking forward to that feeling this Saturday night)
The buttery soft leather of my new (vintage) batwing jacket. I love the feel, so divine! I could stroke myself to oblivion whilst wearing that bad boy.
Etsy! Especially browsing for various animal costumes heeeeee! I'm pretty convinced that I need a unicorn costume and a bunny costume. (to wear to Meredith and all of the time)
Massive 'wedding gazebo' 3m x 6m that Sam just purchased for us for Meredith off ebay. It has the most darling little windows and is really the most amazing investment - rain or shine!

Fashion wannabe

Hoping to turn that into a fashion WILL BE very shortly (at least by the time it's travel to Europe time!)

I've been tracking my weekend outfits on flickr lately, trying to find a personal style in time for summer and more importantly... EUROPE! :)

My fave outfit so far is this one:

I love the tassles on the dress, although when drunk and trying to break into my own home, they got stuck on the barbed wire fence, I cried and the party next door watched me. Maybe not my fave outfit anymore??

My other fave is this one (safe to say I love that little denim jacket)

No risk at getting caught on barbed wire in that one!

Anyway - help a budding fashion wanna be out - tell me your fave outfit of mine and I promise to show Europe how amazing it is

ENFP

Just took the Myer-Briggs test (if you haven't done so yourself DO IT BY CLICKING HERE!!!!!)

My results: ENFP

I totally relate to ENFP especially the bit about being inspired by starting up new projects, preferring the start-up stage, and being let down by expectations gone wrong :)

E - Extraverted
N - iNtuative
F - Feeling
P - Perceiving

ENFPs are initiators of change, keenly perceptive of possibilities. They energize and stimulate others through their contagious enthusiasm. They prefer the start-up phase of a project or relationship, and are tireless in the pursuit of new-found interests. ENFPs are able to anticipate the needs of others and to offer them needed help and appreciation. They bring zest, joy, liveliness, and fun to all aspects of their lives. They are at their best in fluid situations that allow them to express their creativity and use their charisma. They tend to idealize people, and can be disappointed when reality fails to fulfill their expectations. They are easily frustrated if a project requires a great deal of follow-up or attention to detail.

Warmly enthusiastic and imaginative. See life as full of possibilities. Make connections between events and information very quickly, and confidently proceed based on the patterns they see. Want a lot of affirmation from others, and readily give appreciation and support. Spontaneous and flexible, often rely on their ability to improvise and their verbal fluency.

(I underlined the stuff that related to me that most... but ended up underlining almost the whole thing! heee)

Do the test - tell me what you got!!!! Does it relate???

Le blogueur

Today, I call myself the blogger... the authoress of this blog.
I also call myself la femme inspiree.

Things that have inspired me lately:

  • Reading old blogs of mine with amusement (not going to post links!!!)
  • My Polyvore collections! I have been having so much fun playing with new colours and styles without having to drag myself out shopping in this weather.
  • My cute and ever inspiring friends at Kinfolk, every cup of coffee made with love!(nawwwwww)
  • Mondays at Urban Yoga - what a perfect way to kick-start the week.
  • And of course, our dear friend Iggy Pop. Who else to inspire my choreography of 'Real Wild Child' for the fast approaching Melbourne Fringe Festival!! (for more info on our show, click here)
The years to come will hopefully see me stumbling upon this blog once again.... I know I will amuse my future self with this.

Speaking of future self, if you have not already gotten on to futureme.org, DO IT! Another amusing yet inspiring internet passtime.
